History and Information of Creation: The Phra Nak Prok Thepnimit coin (Prok Bai Makham – tamarind leaf size) by Ajahn Chum Chaikhiri, the legendary laymaster of the Khao Or magic lineage, is considered a supreme miniature amulet with immense power. The creation of this coin was initiated to raise funds for the restoration of the Phra Borommathat Pagoda and its surrounding areas at Wat Chai Mongkol in Songkhla province. Although many people might confuse it with the 2497 BE batch, the creation and consecration ceremony for this specific coin actually took place grandly at the Wihan Phra Phuttha Nak Noi of Wat Prayurawongsawat Worawihan in Thonburi. The ceremony began on November 25, 2498 BE (1955 AD) and lasted until January 14, 2499 BE (1956 AD), totaling 48 days. It was created strictly following the textbook of the Khao Or magic academy and the grimoire of Ajahn Kong (the master of Khun Phaen), who communicated the methods through a spirit medium during the creation of the Phra Phong Thepnimit powder amulets in 2496 BE.
Sacred Materials (Muan Sarn): For the “copper material” and other metals stamped into these Prok Bai Makham coins, they were not just ordinary copper plates from the market. They were copper and auspicious metal plates inscribed with mandatory Yant (sacred geometry) characters according to the Phatthalung grimoire. Ajahn Chum inscribed 108 sacred Yants, and each Yant had to be repeatedly inscribed on top of each other 108 times (108 Yants, each done 108 times). This was to invoke the formulas and names to build up intense magical power while they were still raw metal blocks. After that, they were melted, rolled, and stamped into tiny Phra Nak Prok coins, featuring a small face mold with sharp and beautiful details.
Consecration Ceremony (Putthapisek): The blessing ceremony is the crucial highlight that made this coin a legend. The rituals were strictly performed over 48 days. There was a scheduled rotation of 8 meditation practitioners who sat and chanted mantras every night, along with elder guru monks who sat in deep meditation (Nang Prok) and chanted Putthapisek continuously every night. The blessing sessions were clearly divided into 4 phases, 7 days per phase, which were:
-
Blessed for Kongkrapan Chatri (invulnerability) and Maha Ut (gun-stopping) for 7 days.
-
Blessed for Metta Mahaniyom (great charm and popularity) for 7 days.
-
Blessed for Choklap (luck and wealth attraction) for 7 days.
-
Blessed for Klaew Klaad (evasion of danger and protection) for 7 days. The most astonishing part is that every 7 days, at the end of each phase, Ajahn Chum would perform a “magic test” (testing the power) in front of numerous witnesses and experts. This was to verify that the sacred power had truly entered the amulets, true to the invulnerability science of the Khao Or lineage.
Experiences and Miracles: The experiences of those who worship this Nak Prok coin from 2498-2499 BE can be described as universally encompassing. People speak of incredible miracles of surviving accidents and sharp weapons, perfectly fitting for amulets that were literally tested against slashing, stabbing, and shooting live during the ceremony. Additionally, they possess outstanding power in charm and fortune. The secret to invoking its power, as strictly instructed by Ajahn Chum, is for the worshipper to breathe in and think “Phut”, and breathe out and think “Tho”, keeping the mind firmly focused. This tiny copper coin acts as a diamond armor protecting against danger and attracting auspicious things into one’s life. It is highly suitable for children, women, and men who prefer small, easy-to-carry amulets, yet packed with colossal spiritual power equivalent to amulets worth millions.
