Phra Nang Phaya, Luang Pu Toh, Wat Pradoochimplee (Baked Clay), Year 2472 BE

History and Creation

The baked clay Phra Nang Phaya amulet by Phra Rajsangwarapimon (Luang Pu Toh Intasuwanano) of Wat Pradoochimplee is considered a highly valuable and sought-after early-era sacred object in the amulet circle. It was created between the years 2472 and 2474 BE, marking the period when Luang Pu Toh began crafting his very first amulets—nearly half a century before his famous Phra Pidta models like Jumbo or Plod Nee. The creation of this Nang Phaya batch stemmed from Luang Pu’s intention to provide a spiritual anchor for his disciples and devotees who came to pay respects. He meticulously carved the molds and pressed the amulets with great care. The standard molds recognized by the amulet community consist of four main types:

  • Pim Mee Na Mee Ta (With Face and Eyes)

  • Pim Ok Noon (Prominent Chest)

  • Pim Tewada (Angelic)

  • Pim Sangkati (Monastic Sash)

Sacred Materials

The exceptional nature of this Phra Nang Phaya batch lies in its supremely powerful “Muan Sarn” (sacred materials). The amulets are made of baked clay mixed with mystical earth and soils from various sacred locations, notably “Din Khui Pu” (soil from crab holes), which is considered fine and auspicious according to ancient beliefs. However, what makes this batch truly invaluable is the integration of “Phong Phutthakhun” (holy powder) that Luang Pu Toh personally created and inscribed with sacred scripts. This is the exact same batch of holy powder used to create his legendary first 13 Phra Somdej molds. Furthermore, Luang Pu Toh shared a portion of this specific holy powder with his close companion in the Dhamma, Luang Phor Sod of Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, who used it as the primary material for creating the renowned First Batch Phra Phong Khong Kwan of Wat Paknam. When examined under a loupe, the clay texture appears soft yet profoundly dry, reflecting almost a century of aging. It naturally displays minerals and sand grains seamlessly blending with the holy powder.

Rituals and Consecration

Regarding the rituals, Luang Pu Toh spent an extensive period performing solitary consecration through high-level meditation inside his living quarters. Consecration in his early era focused entirely on pure spiritual intention, completely devoid of commercialism. He rigorously invoked the elements, empowered them, and chanted ancient Yantras and incantations according to ancestral lineages. Luang Pu Toh’s psychic power was well-acknowledged among other master monks; it was known that he could flawlessly invite the divine grace of the Lord Buddha to reside within the amulets. This imbues the 2472 Phra Nang Phaya with overflowing spiritual power, encompassing loving-kindness, great authority, and formidable protection against danger.

Experiences and Miracles

The experiences of those who possess and worship the 2472 Phra Nang Phaya by Luang Pu Toh universally speak of its all-encompassing power, particularly its prominence in Metta Mahaniyom (great charm/popularity) and Chok Lap (wealth and business success). Many devotees have found that obstacles in their careers were swept away, superiors offered strong patronage, and ill-wishing enemies were defeated. There are also miraculous accounts of Klaew Klaad (evading danger) from severe accidents. However, Luang Pu Toh always taught his disciples that his amulets would yield the highest results only if the worshipper behaved as a good person, strictly adhered to moral precepts, and, most importantly, maintained deep gratitude toward their parents. If these conditions are met, the virtues of Phra Nang Phaya and Luang Pu Toh will endlessly protect and grant them prosperity.
