Brief Biography of Luang Phor Khruem Luang Phor Khruem Sulapho or Phra Kru Samutr Koson, former abbot of Wat Khlong Suan (also known as Wat Klang Khlong Suan), Tambon Ban Khlong Suan, Amphoe Phra Samut Chedi, Samut Prakan Province. Born on December 1, B.E. 2465 (1922) in Tambon Bang Wa, Amphoe Bang Pakong, Chachoengsao Province. Original name Khruem Saruangsukhon. He was a renowned guru monk in the Samut Prakan lineage, highly skilled in powerful magical knowledge. He inherited teachings from Luang Phor Ding of Wat Bang Wa (his preceptor and main teacher), who passed down knowledge of weapon subduing, earth-holding spells, the seven-burden mantra, and ghost-banishing techniques. Luang Phor Khruem was expert in great protection (maha ut), invulnerability (kongkaphan chatri), danger evasion (klaew klaad), and tiger-form amulets. He passed away on November 13, B.E. 2543 (2000) at the age of 78 (some sources give slightly different years).
