Luang Phor Dam, originally named Dam Phunthep, was born on April 15, 1941, in Ban Khok Phai, Tak Bai District, Narathiwat Province. He was ordained on July 26, 1961, at Wat Mai Napharam, with Phra Khru Niphatkaranyu as his preceptor. He was a renowned monk in the southern region known for his modesty, great compassion, and strict adherence to monastic discipline. His prominence lies in inheriting the magical lineage of “Luang Phor Khron of Wat Bang Sae” in Kelantan, Malaysia, who was legendary for creating Phra Pidta and talismans with powerful spiritual properties. Furthermore, he studied under several other masters such as Phor Than Dee of Wat Sangkhasittharam and Luang Phor Pi of Wat Lan Hoi, and went on forest retreats in graveyards and wilderness to practice Vipassana meditation. Phor Than Dam’s fame spread internationally to Singapore and Malaysia. His sacred objects (such as Phra Pidta and Mai Khru) are mostly known for their miraculous experiences regarding protection from harm and immense fortune. He passed away peacefully on December 2, 2008, at the age of 67, having served 47 years in the monkhood.
龙婆丹，原名丹·普贴，出生于1941年4月15日，那拉提瓦府达拜县班阔派。他于1961年7月26日在迈那帕兰寺出家，由帕库尼帕卡兰如担任戒师。他是泰国南部著名的得道高僧，以其简朴、慈悲以及对佛教戒律的严格遵守而闻名。他最引人注目的是传承了马来西亚吉兰丹州“邦塞寺龙婆空（Luang Phor Khron）”的法脉，龙婆空以督造具有强大法力的必打佛（掩面佛）和塔固（符管）而闻名。此外，他还跟随多位大师学习，如桑卡西塔兰寺的菩谭迪、兰海寺的龙婆彼，并前往墓地和荒山野岭进行苦行，修炼内观禅修。菩谭丹的名声远播至新加坡和马来西亚。他的圣物（如必打佛和法杖）大多以避险、保平安和招大财的神奇事迹而闻名。他于2008年12月2日安详圆寂，享年67岁，僧腊47年。
