Phra Somdej Wat Prasartboonyavas B.E.2506

Year: 1963 (B.E. 2506), after the major fire at Wat Prasat in 1955
Initiator: Phra Khru Samuh Amphol, the abbot at that time
Purpose: To raise funds for temple restoration
Consecration Ceremony: A grand ritual lasting 3–7 days, with over 200–234 famous monks participating, including Luang Pu Toh (Wat Pradoochimplee), Luang Phor Kuay (Wat Kositaram), Luang Phor Ngern (Wat Don Yai Hom), Ajahn Tim (Wat Chang Hai), and Luang Pu Nak (Wat Rakhang)

Design: Buddha seated in meditation on three-tiered base, with the lowest tier shaped in the style of a lion (Singha)
Shape: Rectangular, similar to traditional Phra Somdej, but with distinctive base details
Material: Sacred powder, available in both white and black versions
- White powder: Mixed with fragments of Phra Somdej from Bang Khun Phrom and Wat Rakhang
- Black powder: Mixed with sacred soil and “din kayayak” (special clay), following Luang Pu Thuad’s formula
