Phra Somdej with “Na Mo Put Tha Ya” Pedestal and Stamp “Chor Ror” (Powder Material, B.E. 2512 / 1969) from Wat Chinorosaram Worawihan, Bangkok, is a rare, special-edition sacred powder amulet with a highly distinctive aesthetic from the famous B.E. 2512 collection of Wat Chinoros.

Unique Design and Features

  • Front: The Buddha image sits in a meditation posture upon a unique pedestal carved as stacked Khom sacred characters spelling “Na Mo Put Tha Ya” (The Five Buddhas’ Incantation), one of the most revered supreme spells.
  • Back: Features a circular stamped code with the Thai initials “Ch R” (ชร) representing Wat Chinorosaram. Some individual pieces also feature additional hand-inscribed Yantra characters from attending master monks.

Creation History and Purpose

  • Creators: Created by Phra Trakul Sukhawatto, alongside Luang Pho Sirikan and the monastic council of Wat Chinorosaram Worawihan, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok, in B.E. 2512 (1969).
  • Purpose: To raise funds for constructing and renovating temple structures within Wat Chinoros, and to distribute as gifts to faithful devotees contributing donations.

  • 正面: 佛陀呈禅定姿,下方底座由神圣的高棉/柬埔寨古文叠刻而成,拼写为 “Na Mo Put Tha Ya”(นะโมพุทธายะ,五方佛心咒),此乃至高无上的五方佛神圣符咒。
  • 背面: 中央盖有圆圈 “Chor Ror”(ชร)字样印章(Wat Chinoros 寺名的泰文缩写)。部分尊受邀高僧在法会上亲自手刻的额外符文。
