History of the Creation of Phra Somdej by Luang Pho Tat, Wat Chai Na, Year B.E. 2539
The Phra Somdej with the “Tra Yaang” (stamped seal) back, created by Luang Pho Tat of Wat Chai Na, Phetchaburi Province, was made in B.E. 2539 (1996 CE). It is considered an early-period Phra Somdej from this monk.
There are mainly 2 materials and 2 primary molds found, with a total production across all materials and molds of only 3,000 pieces. Every single amulet in this batch must have the temple’s stamped seal (Tra Yaang) on the reverse side.
Key characteristics:
- Front: Classic Phra Somdej design with a 3-tiered base (base keang).
- Back: Stamped with the Wat Chai Na seal (some pieces may also have additional handwritten sacred scripts).
The main material commonly seen is a yellowish-orange tinted composition (often called “golden yellow” or “yellow material”). Other materials are extremely rare in the current market due to the limited production quantity. This series was made in the early phase of the monk’s amulet creation, before the famous “Yaew Chani” Phra Somdej series that became widely known later.
This particular amulet is renowned for its strong protective power, great charm and loving-kindness (metta mahaniyom), and enhancement of good fortune and auspiciousness — typical of Luang Pho Tat’s Phra Somdej style. The monk emphasized consecration using deeply studied and powerful Phetchaburi magical knowledge and ancient techniques.

หลวงพ่อตัด วัดชายนา จังหวัดเพชรบุรี 所制作的พระสมเด็จ 背面有寺庙印章（ตรายาง）佛牌，于佛历2539年（公元1996年）铸造，属于这位法师早期的พระสมเด็จ系列。
此批佛牌主要分为2种材质与2种主要模具，所有材质与模具总共仅铸造3,000尊。每一尊佛牌背面都必须带有寺庙的ตรายาง（印章）标记。
主要特征：
- 正面：经典พระสมเด็จ造型，基座为三层阶梯式（ฐานเขียง 3 ชั้น）。
- 背面：压印วัดชายนา寺庙印章（部分佛牌可能额外有手写经文）。
最常见的材质为黄色偏橙色（常称为“黄金黄”或“黄色材质”）。其他材质在当今市场极为罕见，因为产量有限。此系列为法师早期铸造的佛牌，在后来广为人知的“เยี่ยวชะนี”系列之前制作。
