The pumped miniature Phra Kring statue of Luang Phor To, Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai, Samut Prakan Province, the year 1955 (B.E. 2498) edition, was created as a memorial and to allow disciples to worship Luang Phor To. Luang Phor To is a sacred provincial Buddha statue and one of the legendary five floating sibling Buddha statues. The creation in the year 1955 is considered a highly important and popular edition in the amulet community because it is a pumped miniature statue format that contains a rattling bead (Kring) inside. The Buddha image possesses beautiful, classic, and unique Buddhist art.
Sacred Materials The primary materials used in casting and pumping this miniature Phra Kring edition are mixed metals and copper. Sacred ancient metal ingots, metal plates inscribed with mystical characters (Yant) from famous master monks of that era, ancient bronze, as well as brass and copper donated by villagers and devotees for merit-making, were all gathered. All these materials were melted together at high heat before being rolled and pumped into the shape of Luang Phor To, resulting in an aged metal texture that inherently holds profound magical power.
Consecration Rituals (Putthapisek) The grand consecration ceremony was held at the main ordination hall of Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai. Numerous master monks with great magical prowess of that era were invited to participate in the ceremony. However, the most important figure and the presiding monk for the empowerment was “Luang Pu Phueak of Wat King Kaew,” a highly renowned master monk of Samut Prakan Province, known for his powerful magic and deeply revered by the people. Luang Pu Phueak compassionately performed an intense solitary empowerment, perfectly infusing the virtues of the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha into every single statue. This makes the Buddhist virtues of this pumped miniature edition equivalent to other highly sought-after and rare amulets of Luang Pu Phueak.
Experiences Devotees who have worshipped the pumped miniature Phra Kring of Luang Phor To, year 1955, have encountered diverse and evident experiences, especially regarding evasion of danger and safety from various accidents and perils. Furthermore, it is outstanding in terms of great charm (Metta Mahaniyom), fortune, and commerce. Merchants and vendors who carry it report excellent sales and prosperous businesses. There are also stories regarding its miraculous healing properties, where devotees often use the statue to make holy water for drinking or sprinkling, praying for recovery from illnesses. Many have experienced miraculous improvements, making this edition highly treasured and sought after.
