History and Creation Details of “Chan Phen Maha Mongkol” Kwai Thanu by PT Kloi Anomo ( Wat Phu Khao Thong, 2014, Phatthalung )
The “Chan Phen Maha Mongkol” Kwai Thanu created by Phor Than Kloi Anomo of Wat Phu Khao Thong (Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung Province) in B.E. 2557 (2014) is a highly venerated sacred metal talisman. It holds special significance as the first and only batch of Kwai Thanu crafted by PT Kloi following the ancient esoteric magical traditions of the famous Khao Or lineage.
Purpose of Creation
-
Temple Renovation: To raise funds for the restoration and maintenance of monastic structures within Wat Phu Khao Thong, a historical spiritual center of the Khao Or lineage.
-
Preserving Sacred Heritage: To preserve and perpetuate the traditional sorcery of making protective animal amulets according to ancient Khao Or texts, allowing disciples to possess an authentic sacred talisman for protection.
Sacred Materials and Casting
-
Sacred Mystical Metals: Cast using sacred alloy artifacts (Chanuan Muan Sarn), including ancient metal talismans and yantra sheets hand-inscribed with esoteric spells by Phor Than Kloi.
-
Ancient Sacred Artifacts: Combined with ancient coffin nails, antique brass utensils, and mystical metals blessed according to ancient texts.
-
Masterful Craftsmanship: Cast into a robust, powerful buffalo figurine reflecting traditional southern Thai amulet aesthetics.
Sacred Consecration Rituals
-
Auspicious Full Moon Date: The main consecration ceremony was held in the ordination hall (Ubosot) of Wat Phu Khao Thong on November 6, 2014 (B.E. 2557), coinciding with the full moon of the 12th lunar month (Loy Krathong Night). This night is traditionally believed to hold peak cosmic and spiritual energy, giving the batch its name “Chan Phen Maha Mongkol” (Great Auspicious Full Moon).
-
Empowerment: Phor Than Kloi performed intense solitary mental empowerment and incantations using white-magic Khao Or sorcery, infusing the amulets with supreme protective properties against black magic, evil spirits, and negative influences.
Spiritual Benefits and Worship Guidelines
-
Spiritual Benefits: Exceptional protection against black magic, dark sorcery, harmful spirits, demonic entities, and physical danger. It is also highly effective for guarding homes, shops, and vehicles against intruders and unseen negative energies.
-
Worship Method: Phor Than Kloi specified that this Kwai Thanu belongs to the celestial/white magic tradition. It does not require offerings of grass, hay, or food, as it was empowered to be “eternally nourished” (Im Thip). Devotees only need to offer fresh water on Tuesdays or Saturdays without needing to burn incense daily.
