Bia Gae by Luang Pu Khong, Wat Klang Bang Kaew (B.E. 2568)

Bia Gae by Luang Pu Khong of Wat Klang Bang Kaew (B.E. 2568 / 2025) is a sacred amulet crafted in strict accordance with the famous ancient lineage of Wat Klang Bang Kaew, Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province. It aims to perpetuate the magical knowledge and traditional wisdom of creating Bia Gae directly inherited from legendary master monks, including Luang Pu Boon Khandhasaro, Luang Pu Phoem Punnasaro, and Luang Pu Juea Piyasilo.

History and Lineage Transmission

Wat Klang Bang Kaew is recognized as the “Takkasila (Great Academy) of Bia Gae” in Thailand. The B.E. 2568 edition of Bia Gae was created by Luang Pu Khong, along with the monastic council and disciples who preserve the temple’s ancient treatises. Proceeds from the creation of these sacred objects are dedicated to restoring religious structures within Wat Klang Bang Kaew, as well as supporting public charity work and the education of Buddhist monks and novices.
This edition strictly adheres to traditional rituals, procedures, and spiritual reverence according to ancient texts, ensuring that the amulets possess full spiritual efficacy and sacred power in the true fashion of old masters.

Traditional Creation Process (B.E. 2568)

The creation of Bia Gae following the Wat Klang Bang Kaew lineage involves a detailed and intricate 5-step process:
  • Selection of Cowrie Shells (Bia Chan): Cowrie shells are selected strictly according to ancient texts, requiring exactly 32 teeth, symbolizing the 32 physical attributes (Akarana 32) of a human being. The shell must be complete without cracks or defects.
  • Mercury Insertion Ritual: Pure mercury is invoked through a ritual and poured into the shell’s cavity. During insertion, the master monk concentrates his mind and recites incantations continuously.
  • Sealing with Subterranean Stingless Bee Resin (Chan Rong Tai Din): The opening of the shell is sealed with subterranean stingless bee resin (a natural material from stingless bees nesting underground, believed to possess inherent protective and invulnerability powers) to prevent mercury from leaking. A hand-inscribed Takrut foil or sacred powder is also placed inside.
  • Cord Weaving and Lacquering: The cowrie shell is woven with cord following the signature weaving patterns of Wat Klang Bang Kaew (available in both open-back and fully covered styles). It is then dipped or coated in black lacquer or raw lacquer (Rak Nam Kleang) to preserve the woven cord, enhance durability, and impart a classic, sacred aesthetic.
  • Yantra Inscription and Consecration Ceremony: Luang Pu Khong personally hand-inscribes sacred Yantra characters onto the Bia Gae (such as Yant Thoh Maha Phrom or Yant Thoh Maha-Ut) and places them in the grand consecration ceremony (Phutta Phisek – Theva Phisek) at the main ordination hall of Wat Klang Bang Kaew, with revered master monks joining in meditative prayer and consecration.

Spiritual Benefits and Sacred Powers of Bia Gae

  • Warding Off and Counteracting Black Magic: Protects against dark arts, sorcery, poison, malevolent forces, ghosts, and evil spirits, preventing them from causing harm.
  • Turning Misfortune into Blessing: Supports destiny, mitigates bad karma, and alleviates life obstacles and hardships.
  • Protection and Loving-Kindness (Metta Maha Niyom): Shields the worshiper from accidents, poisonous creatures, and all forms of danger, while enhancing charm, luck, and goodwill from others.

(Bia Gae)

此期圣物旨在继承与弘扬历代著名高僧的法术精髓与制作挡降贝的古老智慧,其法脉直系传承自:龙普 Boon(Khandhasaro)、龙普 Phoem(Punnasaro)以及龙普 Juea(Piyasilo)。
