Phra Pidta Maha Lap (Sacred Powder), Luang Phor Thip, Wat Pho Thong, Year 1974, Buriram Province

The Phra Pidta Maha Lap, often referred to as “Phra Pidta Sarapat Nuek” (Wish-Fulfilling Phra Pidta) in its sacred powder and herb mixture form, was created by Luang Phor Thip Dhammaniyomo of Wat Pho Thong, Buriram Province, in 1974. It is considered one of the early amulets that brought him widespread fame in the central region of Thailand. This specific Phra Pidta mold is classic, featuring a “Sum Kor” (arch) style with the Buddha figure sitting in a full lotus position (diamond posture), raising his hands to cover his face, which symbolizes deep meditative absorption. It is classified as a great treasure of the southern Isan region, concealing the profound power typical of ancient Khmer lineage master monks.

Sacred Materials: The creation of this powder-based Phra Pidta relied on primary materials consisting of Phuttha Khun powder, which Luang Phor Thip personally inscribed and erased on a slate board according to ancient grimoires. This was blended with 108 types of auspicious herbs (Wan) possessing inherent magical properties, incense ashes from sacred sites, pollens from flowers offered to the Buddha, and mystical soils from various significant locations. Furthermore, some individual amulets visibly contain strands of Luang Phor Thip’s hair. This combination gives the amulet’s texture a soft appearance while being imbued with the pure spiritual energy of the master.

Consecration Ritual: Luang Phor Thip performed an extensive solitary consecration ceremony inside his cubicle. He utilized ancient Khmer magical incantations, a lineage in which he possessed absolute mastery. He deeply focused on the manipulation of elements and the bolstering of destiny to ensure the amulets achieved maximum sacredness. Additionally, records and accounts from close disciples indicate that many of his amulets created between 1974 and 1975 received the compassionate blessing of Luang Pu Tim of Wat Lahan Rai, who co-consecrated them in an additional session to amplify their power. This makes the spiritual properties of this Phra Pidta edition absolutely flawless.

Experiences and Beliefs: The names of the edition, “Maha Lap” (Great Fortune) and “Sarapat Nuek” (Wish-Fulfilling), were not given without reason. Those who worship this Phra Pidta have encountered astonishing experiences, particularly when praying for their desires, which often come true rapidly as if by a miracle. It is exceptionally outstanding in bringing luck, driving prosperous business trade, and generating Metta Mahaniyom (loving-kindness and charm) that earns the affection and favor of superiors. At the same time, the protective properties of Klaew Klaad (evasion of danger) and Kong Krapan (invincibility)—which are the core disciplines of Luang Phor Thip’s magic—remain clearly evident during critical moments. Consequently, this edition is fiercely cherished by his disciples and amulet collectors.
