The Phra Pidta of Luang Phor Thongsuk Intachoto from Wat Saphan Sung is considered one of the ultimate lineages of Phra Pidta magic, directly inheriting the legendary power from Luang Pu Iam and Luang Pu Klin. The period from 1972 to 1982 (2515 to 2525 BE) is considered his late era, a time when his mental power and magical meditation were at their absolute peak. He strictly created these Phra Pidta amulets according to the ancient methods of the Wat Saphan Sung academy to distribute to his disciples and devotees for protection. It is highly regarded as a sacred representative that can completely be relied upon for its Buddhist virtues, perfectly substituting the early generation Phra Pidta of Luang Pu Iam.
The essential materials (Muan Sarn) used to create the “Nuea Phong Khluk Rak” (Mixed Powder with Lacquer) consist of the five sacred powders: Phong Pathamang, Phong Itthije, Phong Maharaj, Phong Phutthakhun, and Phong Trinisinghe. Luang Phor Thongsuk personally inscribed and erased these powders according to ancient formulas. This was intensely blended with the sacred old powders of Luang Pu Iam and Luang Pu Klin that were passed down within the temple. Furthermore, 108 types of auspicious herbs (Waan 108) were pounded and mixed, bound together using authentic black lacquer and clear lacquer sap. The distinct physical characteristic is that the surface of the amulet was dipped and coated with “Rak Nam Kliang” (clear lacquer). After passing through several decades, the lacquer surface has become dry yet glossy, showing natural flaking, shrinking, and cracking. Regarding the consecration rituals, Luang Phor Thongsuk followed the exact footsteps of his lineage masters. He would conduct solitary consecration ceremonies peacefully inside his monk’s cell or the main ordination hall, especially during the Buddhist Lent. He would consecrate them continuously for the entire three-month Trimart period. He would invoke the spiritual barami (parami/virtues) of Luang Pu Iam and Luang Pu Klin to join in bestowing blessings. Using highly advanced meditative concentration, he focused his Kasina and channeled the elemental forces, continuously embedding magical powers that covered all aspects: loving-kindness (Metta), evasion of danger (Klaew Klaad), and invulnerability (Kong Kraphan). He would consecrate them until he was absolutely certain that every single Phra Pidta amulet was fully charged with complete Buddhist virtues before distributing them to the laypeople.
